Terms of Use

Short rules for a short-video tool. By installing or using Scorely you accept them.

TAKE 1

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Scorely on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms. No account is needed and Scorely is free to use.

TAKE 2

Your clips are yours

Videos you import or film, and the mixes you export, remain yours. Only use clips you have the right to use, and respect the privacy of people who appear in them. You are responsible for where you post your mixes and for following the rules of those platforms.

TAKE 3

The score Scorely makes

Scorely builds a score from its built-in stem library based on the mood plan you accept. You may use exported mixes for your own personal and social-media videos. You may not extract the stems to resell or redistribute them as a standalone music library.

TAKE 4

Plans are suggestions

A score plan, whether written on your phone or by the optional cloud analysis, is a creative suggestion. It may not match the mood you had in mind. Nothing is applied until you choose Use Score; you can always choose Adjust mood or Skip music.

TAKE 5

Cloud analysis

If you allow it, the optional mood analysis is provided by DeepSeek as described in our Privacy Policy, and DeepSeek’s terms apply to that processing. The service may be slow or unavailable; when it is, Scorely falls back to a local suggestion.

TAKE 6

Fair use of the app

  • Do not reverse engineer Scorely or try to extract credentials or services built into it.
  • Do not automate or flood the cloud analysis with requests.
  • Do not use Scorely for unlawful content, or content that harasses or sexualises others without consent.
TAKE 7

As is

Scorely is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee it will be error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost clips or projects. Keep your own copy of videos that matter to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

TAKE 8

Ending and changes

You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may update Scorely or these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use Scorely after a change means you accept it.
